Learn how to track changes in Google Drive and restore revision history to make sure changes are never lost.
To view the revision history for a document, open it up in Drive. Head to ‘File’ and scroll down to ‘See revision history’. Click on this to open up a viewer of all your updates on the document.
A right hand navigation bar will appear with the all the revision history, marked clearly with a date and the name of the person who made the revisions, which is particularly handy when working on a document with more than one person.
Select the date to view the revision history, and select ‘Restore this revision’ to restore the document to this version.
