07 Jun How to edit the subject line in an email conversation

Quite often, the topic of conversation can change during an email conversation. To make sure your emails are always accurate, you can edit the subject line in Gmail to make emails easier to find and index.

To edit the subject line, hit reply, and then select the drop down menu to the left. Scroll down to ‘Edit subject’, and this will open the email reply in a new window. Here, you can edit the subject line as if you were writing a new email, but keeping the thread in tact.
