13 Nov How to transfer ownership of a Google Calendar event
Transferring ownership of a Google Calendar event is simple, and may be required when you need to hand over management of an event or meeting to a colleague.
To transfer ownership of a Google Calendar event, first you need to open the event in Google Calendar. Head over to the drop down menu ‘More actions’ and select ‘Change owner…’.

You will then see a box which will allow you to select who to transfer ownership of the event to. Just type in a contacts email address into the ‘New owner’ field and you will be able to email a notification to the person you are transferring ownership of the event to, along with a personalised message.

Once you have made your amendments, just hit ‘Change owner’, and your colleague will receive an email notification, in which they will receive a link to accept the request to transfer ownership of your event to them.
