18 Dec Merge cells in a Google Docs table
Merge cells in a Google Docs table: It’s been a great year for Google Docs, with almost weekly updates being released. Here is a quick tip to show you how you can now merge cells in a table in Google Docs.
To begin with, open up a new or existing document with a table.
Highlight the cells you wish to merge, then right click. Scroll down to ‘Merge cells’.
Your cells will now be merged, with values from both cells amalgamated into one. You can also click back inside the cell, right click and select ‘Unmerge cells’ to undo.
