14 Jan Reaching new heights in our charity efforts
As an organisation, we like to give back and to be able to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
On 21st March 2015, Michael Carter and Kevin Jordan of AppsCare, accompanied by Google’s Koert Holtgreve, will make their outbound journey to Nepal in pursuit of the Himalayas. The ambitious team will be embarking on a gruelling three week trek up the world’s highest mountain, climbing over 17,000ft to reach Mount Everest Base Camp. The purpose of this trip is to raise sponsorship money of which 100% of your donations will go to +Cancer Research UK!
This trek is classed as “Extreme” with a high level of training, but for an incredible cause! 100% of your donations will go to +Cancer Research UK.
We’d really appreciate it if you could sponsor us so we can raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.

Let’s beat Cancer together!
We are committed to raising money for Cancer Research UK. Every day in the UK there are more than 400 people diagnosed with cancer, and we want to help dramatically reduce this figure and to make sure that the right treatment is available for cancer patients. Cancer can kill and leaves holes in the hearts of the family members and friends left behind.
This is an issue that is close to the heart of the AppsCare team, as many of us know of someone has been affected by cancer, and not everyone won their battle. Thanks to the amazing work that Cancer Research do, they are helping to save millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, and through this hard work, the survival rate of those diagnosed with cancer has doubled in the past 40 years.
Cancer Research rely on funding to be able to keep doing this incredible, life saving work. We want to be part of something amazing, which is why we are trying to raise as much money as possible. Please, take the time to visit our JustGiving page, and donate anything you can to this amazing cause. Michael, Kevin and Koert are all committed to fundraising as much as possible, and your donations will be the fuel that will help them through their tough journey up Mount Everest.
