25 Jun Enable undo send in Gmail
Enable undo send in Gmail We posted a tip a while ago about how to enable undo send in Gmail using a lab. But on 22nd June, Google announced that undo send has graduated to a formal setting. Read on for an update on how to turn on undo send in Gmail.
To enable undo send in your Gmail settings, head to the cog on the right hand side of your Gmail screen, and scroll down to Settings.
In the settings page, underneath the General tab, you can scroll down and now find the Undo Send section. To turn on undo send, click Enable and then select the period of time you want the message to display for (please note: your message will not be sent in any instance until after this period of time).
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and hit Save Changes.
Next time you send an email, you will now notice in your Gmail screen that you are displayed with a message to Undo Send. If you click on the Undo button, the message will be reverted into your drafts.
