How to add formatting to partial text within a cell: New updates to Google Sheets make it possible to format just parts of text within one single cell.
Open up a new Google Sheets document, and select the cell you wish to format.
Click within the cell, and highlight the section of text you want to edit.
You can now apply formatting to just this section of text, altering the font, font size, making it Bold, Italic or adding any other formatting.
Once you have finished adding your formatting, you will see that this has now been applied to the selected partial text within the cell only. You can add as much formatting as you want to as many separate pieces of text within one cell.
