17 Sep Using the Explore function in Google Sheets
Using the Explore function in Google Sheets: As described by Google, “Spend less time trying to make sense of your data and more time acting on it with Explore in Sheets. This new feature on the web and in the Android app analyses the data in your spreadsheets and automatically creates charts and surfaces insights based on that information.”
So let’s take a look at how it works.
Open up a Google Sheets document that has data in you would like to analyse.
You will notice in the bottom right hand corner the green Explore button.
If you click on the button, a right hand side menu will automatically open which will bring up tables and charts analysing the data within your Google Sheets document.
For each chart or table, you can choose to input these into your Sheets, by hovering over the button on the left hand side of each image and choosing to Insert Chart.
You can then move and edit this Chart once inserted into your Google Sheets.
