19 Nov Restore deleted events in Google Calendar Web.
Ever had an appointment that has been cancelled? Monday is good and then it is not, but then it is back on again?
Google has made things easier for you. Google understands that you may need to add an event back to your calendar that you deleted previously. Google have introduced an added “Bin” functionality to Google calendar. So you can now view, delete or restore deleted calendar events. If by mistake you have deleted or cancelled an event and then its been rescheduled, you have got the option to reverse any event mishaps.
How do you do this?
Go to the calendar dropdown menu in the “My calendars” section and select “Bin” from the dropdown box as shown below.
Once you have selected the “Bin” option the following page will appear. You have various options to choose from including the option to restore your selected event, to delete forever or to clear selection. If you wish to restore your event, select the checkbox beside the event you want to retrieve as shown below and select the “Restore selected events” option at the bottom of the page.
As you can see below, the deleted event is now visible and safely restored back into my calendar.
Stay tuned for more tips and tricks, until next week.
