14 Apr Activate link sharing quickly via the “Get sharable link” icon in Drive web
Google have introduced a new feature to Google Drive – you can now turn on the file sharing in Drive on the web. Let’s take a look at how to use this feature:
Click on the file you wish to share, select the option ‘Get sharable link’ icon on the top right hand side menu. If you wish to share the file, you can choose to swipe the toggle switch right to turn on link sharing – once the toggle is switched on it will turn green as shown below. The sharing link will allow anyone in your domain to view access to the file and it will also be copied to the clipboard.
Once you select the ‘Get sharable link’ a notification will pop up allowing you undo accidental sharing as shown below.
